5-0 out of 5 stars love it
I always thought these things were a waste of money. Why spend 200 bucks on an MP3 player when there are others out there way cheaper? My brother got this for his birthday and thats when I found out why these are more money. They Hold about a million times more music than my old cheapie MP3 player did.The song quality is amazing. The iTunes software is one of the best players that I have had in a long time.I'd write more but everyone else has done so a million times over so why re-invent the wheel.:)enjoy!

2-0 out of 5 stars Less for More
Just when you think it doesn't get any better, it doesn't!The new 2nd generation Apple 4 GB iPod Mini Silver M9800LL/A is the new benchmark in over-priced electronics that provide music you already own, in a duplicative, unstable, portable format.

Apple spared every expense delivering the new sleek design of the Mini Silver.Sure to make you the envy of every kid on the block. And the good news doesn't stop there.Or does it?

5-0 out of 5 stars I love my mini!
So.... I bought a 4gb mini about a week ago and I'm loving it. I did quite a bit of research about it before I bought it just to make sure I was making a good investment. Best $200 I've ever spent.
It holds a lot of music!
Although I wish it could be worn around my neck like a shuffle... I think the Apple iPod mini Lanyard can solve that problem though.
Ummm... I love it. It works great with my PC. (I'm not a mac lover)

    I <3 it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Mini Ipod 2nd generation
I own a pink mini ipod 2nd generation and i love it! i got it in the begining of may, so its almost a month and have never had problems (except once it froze when i was at school but i connected it to my usb port and then it was fine)The little thing takes on a ton of abuse(i drop it ALL the time) but it never skips and it doesn't even have 1 scratch yet! I was debating between the mini and the 20 gb but i decided to get this one b/c i didn't need 5000 songs worth of space and it was too heavy. If you're worried that you wont have enough space on the mini...it probably wont be a problem unless you are a super heavy user(even in that case you can stillswitch off the songs)and the mini is MUCH smaller and lighter(my best friend has a 4o gb and its WAY bigger than my little compact 4 gb one)also the 4 gb is about 100 dollars cheaper than 20 gb (well, thats about 100 songs there from itunes!)most of the accsories are really uneeded and they're just 4 convinience especially the dock(although i find using the usb port to charge it and download songs extreamly simple and im that computer/electronics oriented)Itunes is really great.. i love it and i prefer it over napster(and yes, i've used both to buy, listen and download songs)the only disadvantage on the ipod as opposed to creative, dell or any other mp3 players, is that you can only use itunes and your own collections to put on your ipod.
The ipod is really "cute" and i really like the click wheel, which is really cool. The setup and use of the ipod is very easy, within an hour of opening the package, i had already instaleld all of the software, registered, charged my ipod, download a ton of songs and was already listening to them with my friends. I spent a long time deciding which mp3 player to get, and i ended up with an apple ipod which i use all the tiem and absolutly adore it! Hope this review helped!

3-0 out of 5 stars LAST AND LEAST....
whatever, ihave been looking for an mp3 player all over the world! when i finally found i liked first of all because of its look, then because of storage and of course the MAC quality.
i was thinking on a sandisk, but my mom suggested an ipod and shed pay the difference wich sound great to me, anyways, i bought it, and enjouyed for about a week, i love to excercise, i jog a lot, andpractice basketball and martial arts, so sometimes when i try to concentrate i just play my mp3 and forget about the world and the routines just comes out easily, anyways, im not a great music fan, my storage is about 150 songs, but is never useless to have extra storage, what so ever.......
this thing is soooooo heavy!!!!!!! and soooo big!!! if i hold it on the clip, which holds from my pants as soon as i start to jog, the thing starts like comming out, or tears down my pants..!! if i hold it with the armclip, it is so heavy that i became scared of droppin it so i barely moved my arm.....anyways, the sound is goodbut not great so far the best for me on mp3's talking, storage enough, size terrible, handling terrible, and as for me excersising is very important thats why i rate it with three because it doesnt let you become healthy. now im thinking on buying a nike/phillips, or the sandisk and ill sell mine to mmy sister...whatevera good thing for sedentary kinda ppl....lol... ... 5-0 out of 5 stars This is a great iPod!!!
After buying my iPod at the Myrtle Beach, SC Target store, I am very, very impressed with this iPod. Downloading songs from both CD's and from itunes is a piece of cake. I have almost quit listening the radio in my car during my daily commutes. I've found it easier to use the itunes music cards than a regular credit card to download musicon Apple's website. I really like the FM adapter that I purchased at the store and the ipod player case is a perfect fit. I just wish that Target carried more accessories like the remote control and the cigarrette lighter adapter. I got to that my brother, Iman, that works at Target in Louisville, KY for talking me into buying the 20GB iPod instead of the mini!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good mp3 player
If you are looking for a real good mp3 player, this is the one to get! It has everything i am looking for. First off it has a 20gb hard drive which can store 5,000 songs. my iTunes playlist has at least 600 hundred songs! second it has the new click-wheel which makes things much more easier to manuver around. the 3rd gen. iPod is real nice too but i don't like that the play, pause, stop buttons are at the top. finally the design is really high-tech looking. It has a nice white coating on the front and a metal finish at the back. it's thin as ever now also! i bought this for my wife for christmas but i also bought one for me too! these 20gb were sold out evrywhere!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very useful item, but with a few setbacks...
I bought my 20GB iPod just under a year ago and I've used it a lot. It is so useful to just upload all your CDs to one central place. However, after the 1st week I bought it, I had a lot of problems. It tends to freeze-nothing too noticable but sometimes it will pause for 10 seconds, and it gets annoying. The casing tends to also pop out of place, which will cause the internal mechanisms to be out of line. For example my iPod wouldn't turn on because somehow the internal "hold" button had been triggered. Apple also only allows one support phone call, unless you pay $60 to buy another call and another year of warranty. Despite these few minor things, that don't always happen to everyone, I am very glad that I purchased this item.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply the best mp3 players to date . . .
I just recently turned fifteen and for my birthday my parents bought me a Sumsung Yepp 256mb mp3 player. it was good with its small design and ease of use, but when it started making noises, i immiediately returned it. I had been saving up money for a new digital camera ,but instead decided to use it on buying my first ever iPod. It's only been a month now and ive already got about 400 songs on it, and i can still fit 4600 more! i like the blazing fast data transfers and ease of use. the click wheel is by far the coolest thing on this 20gb mp3 player. i wasnt happy that the dock isnt included, but rest assured, its on my christmas list. i would highly recomend purchasing this if you are looking for an easy to use, all around good mp3 player.

5-0 out of 5 stars Addictive Product
Buy this product if you love your music and you want to be able to take it with you anywhere. Once you've transferred all your favorite songs into this compact little player you might feel compelled to spend hours categorizing and organizing them into your own personal playlists on your PC. Or you may just want to set it to shuffle and enjoy the music. The headphones sound incredible and you probably won't remember your songs sounding so good. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not far from perfect
Apple was aiming to produce an elegant, tiny personal digital music player with only one standout feature (shuffle play) and they succeeded almost perfectly. It's amazingly compact and lightweight, simple to use, and hassle-free except as noted below. Battery life is excellent. The i-Tunes software that comes with it is the state of the art in flexibility, functionality, and ease.

There's no compelling reason not to buy this, but here are a few cavils to consider:

    * The on-off switch needs a groove, notch, bump, or something to make it easier to grip. I have to squeeze the unit to get traction on the on-off switch. Annoying.

    * After powering it on, I almost always have to press the play button twice before it decides to play. Why?

    * In my experience, this requires USB 2.0 on the PC platform, and I get uneven results on the five different USB 2.0 ports I've tried. On some, the performance is great. On others, it is very slow. I have never gotten a USB 1.x port to see this device.

    * The headphones are uncomfortable and prone to falling out. Inside-the-ear headphones are not a one-size-fits-all item, because one size does not fit all. Chances are good you'll be purchasing replacement headphones, as I did.

    * For how much is Apple going to gouge me when I need a replacement battery? (Begs question: is this actually made to last? Begs further question: is anything made to last any more?)

    * I wish they would produce this in other colors. I could see it in black especially. Someday, man may yet learn to dye plastic.

Cavils aside, if you're looking for a simple, no-nonsense personal digital music player, this is a great choice.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love my Shuffle
A friend gave me an iPod Shuffle, but what I really wanted was an iPod Mini. However, after a few uses I've determined that the Shuffle meets my needs more than any other iPod could.

My CD collection is relatively small, so after ripping the entire thing to my computer, it took up less than 4 gigs.So no problems storing them all there. In addition, for most of the music I listen to, song length averages about 2.5 minutes, so I can cram 150 or more songs onto the Shuffle at once.

It's surprisingly fun to rip and manipulate your music collection using iTunes, and even more fun to shop for songs you haven't heard in years and thought you'd never hear again.

The Shuffle's main advantage over the other iPods is its size and weight.I wouldn't want to slip the other iPods into a jeans pocket or bag for fear of breaking it, but the little Shuffle has no moving parts and weighs about the same as a molecule, so I don't have a problem stuffing it into my pocket.

I like the fact that you can create a playlist and play the songs in order. There's no screen, so you can't find what you want quickly - but if you made the playlist, why would you want to skip songs anyway?Just fill it with songs you love!

My Shuffle replaces a 13-year-old Sony Discman, and I am so glad to get rid of that antique piece of junk.No more carting around a big book of CDs for me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool machine, but...
...one minor complaint and one practical adjustment.Charging this bad boy is a pain.It charges via USB port which sounds cool, but it will often quit charging after a few seconds.Only by unplugging and replugging other devices out of and back into their respective USB ports in a fittingly RANDOM fashion will the orange "charging" light eventually stay on.However, aside from the rain dance needed for it to work, the good news is that once it is fully charged, the battery lasts for a few days' worth of listening.

The practical change could be to add a holding clip.If you run or go the the gym with pocketless shorts, you're out of luck. Also, the iPod Shuffle has a knack for falling out of your pocket when you grab your keys, wallet, etc.

Personally, I haven't had a problem with earpieces falling out.I like the random song feature as well; it adds a surprising replayability to your MP3 library.I don't regret spending the $100 for this player.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty good
Very easy to load music into. sounds great.

2 things that could make it better

1> on/off switch, a little texture, or grooves to make it easier to slide it. I end up trying to get a fingernail between the unit and the switch to slid it open.

2> the earbuds keep falling out, maybe I have small ears. it takes a few times having them fall out, and putting them back in to get them in so they stay. On the commercials, they show people jumping and dancing- I dont know how they keep them in their ears!

Others comments about a lack of display and not knowing what song is next-what difference does it make? Presumably, you loaded it with music you like, I like the randomness of it,not knowing what is next. I only put songs on it that I like, so I dont care what is next.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great iPod Alternative For Athletes Or Kids
Great for jogging, and makes the display surprisingly unnecessary.A solid, cheap, and durable alternative for kids who might not take the necessary care with a hard-drive based iPod.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beyond Cool
The fact that this transmitter allowed me to choose from more than four channels was what caught my attention. Living and working in the NYC metropolitan area, I knew that there are very few, if any, channels that would be clear enough to use a transmitter successfully, so a transmitter that gave me a wide spectrum of channels to choose from was in order.

This thing works! I use it on a channel on which I get a faint to medium signal and it completely overrides that signal. It's easy to use. It's incredibly sexy - not clunky or awkward looking at all (it completely fits the profile of the mini). It gets attention from everyone because it's just so cool. ... Read more

Hope this review helped!

whatever, ihave been looking for an mp3 player all over the world! when i finally found i liked first of all because of its look, then because of storage and of course the MAC quality.
i was thinking on a sandisk, but my mom suggested an ipod and shed pay the difference wich sound great to me, anyways, i bought it, and enjouyed for about a week, i love to excercise, i jog a lot, andpractice basketball and martial arts, so sometimes when i try to concentrate i just play my mp3 and forget about the world and the routines just comes out easily, anyways, im not a great music fan, my storage is about 150 songs, but is never useless to have extra storage, what so ever.......
this thing is soooooo heavy!!!!!!! and soooo big!!! if i hold it on the clip, which holds from my pants as soon as i start to jog, the thing starts like comming out, or tears down my pants..!! if i hold it with the armclip, it is so heavy that i became scared of droppin it so i barely moved my arm.....anyways, the sound is goodbut not great so far the best for me on mp3's talking, storage enough, size terrible, handling terrible, and as for me excersising is very important thats why i rate it with three because it doesnt let you become healthy. now im thinking on buying a nike/phillips, or the sandisk and ill sell mine to mmy sister...whatevera good thing for sedentary kinda ppl....lol... ... 5-0 out of 5 stars practical and easy to use
let's put it this way, if you want to store all your music in your ipod ( and when i say all your music, i mean ALL), thenthis ipod mini is not for you, 'cause as you guys know, this ipod mini only holds up to 1,500 songs (6gb). Now,that's a lot of songs if you ask me, that's an entire week of music, i love classic rock and i filled my ipod mini with all of my favorite songs, you know how cool it is for me to take this everytime i go to the beach or if i'm having some company, i can just press shuffle and enjoy without the hassle of getting up everytime, you know to change cd's??, so if you're looking for something that's not that expensive and just want to have a good time and easy to use then i recomend this little item!! Respeta a un varon!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding MP3 player.
I began looking into an iPod purchase over a year ago, and was almost sold on the 4th generation iPod.I liked the colors of the mini and was okay with 4 GB of storage (though that was a tad on the small side), but the main thing that deterred me from the mini was the less-than-desirable 8-10 hour battery life.

Then the 2nd generation mini was released.Apple seemed to fix and improve every little thing I had held against the original. They made the colors brighter, increased the hard drive space to 6 gigs, and most importantly, at least to me, increased the battery life two-fold.

The 18 hours that Apple advertises is EXTREMELY conservative. If you're content listening to music and don't need the backlight for more than a minute or two every hour, the battery can run for about 24-25 hours.I can go a week and not have to worry about recharging my battery.I could listen every waking moment of my day and never have to stop and recharge before I went to bed. It's a wonderful thing.

The blue is very bright and pleasing to the eye--I've seen the pink and silver versions and they too are visually appeasing.6 gigs is nothing to shake a stick at--on the contrary, I've found that 6 gigs is just about the perfect size for someone who has a vast number of interests musically but doesn't have thousands upon thousands of CD's to rip and upload.Unless you have literally hundreds of CD's in your collection that you plan on putting on your iPod, I'd recommend the mini, since you'd more than likely end up with half the space on your regular iPod sitting unused.

Despite the fact that the iPod scratches easily, there are several cases which work extremely well...I'm partial to the ones made by Power Support, though you have to import them from Japan.Uploading your songs is quick and easy.Navigating the menus takes about 15 minutes to master. There's really nothing more I can say that can do the iPod mini justice.

I will make a quick note and add that I'm not an Apple fanatic.I think that Apples are good computers, but I'm still attached to my PCs.However, when it comes to MP3 players, there's really no comparison; it's going to take many many years before Microsoft or any other competing company can put out any MP3 player nearly as nice as the 2nd generation iPod mini.

Also, if you have a friend that's a teacher in a school, look into the education discount on the Apple website. It ends up being 20 or 30 dollars off.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!!(after I survived setting it up)
I just got my 6 gb mini for my birthday.I also got most of the accessories as presents, too, so I don't have to worry about forking over the cost of the mini itself for them (seriously, mac).I AM IN ELECTRO LOVE!Wow, and I think this time it's for REALS.:-)I am coming fresh off the iRiver boat (funny how they use the "i" in front of their name, too), and have been extremely pleased with my little 256 mb player... and I do mean LITTLE.BUT, I am extatically (word invention there) adding album after album on my iPod as I type this.Yeah, it's kinda annoying to convert WMA files to AAC, but they do the work for you.I love the organization, I love the style, I love the size, I love the balance between form AND function.I do feel like I've just joined a cult of iPod users, however.Oh well, not as bad as Mormonism

5-0 out of 5 stars Gotta Buy This!!
Let me start off by saying that I was amazed at how small this thing is. I bought the IPOD MINI.When I got it and opened it up I was amazed at how small it was. It was crazy small!Plus it holds around 1,000 songs.Right now I have about 500 and it's a little over half-full on the memory. I got a 4GB IPOD MINI.So, there is plenty of memory space for lots of songs. The software was easy to install.I thought it was tricky figuring out how to select songs and actually put them on the ipod. But after a while I figured it out. Also the volume on the ear phones is amazing. I almost blew out an eardrum by accidentally turning up the volume! The only problem i've had so far with the ear pieces is that the foam ear pads keep coming off the earbuds.NO biggie though.I would recommend getting some sort of case to protect this thing since you've already paid $200 bucks what is another $20 to make sure it's safe! There's plenty to choose from.Charging is it easy, you just plug it into the usb port and it automatically starts charging it.I have a computer so it's no biggie. If you don't have a computer with a usb port its gonna be tough finding a place to recharge it.I haven't tested the battery life yet, but it seems to be ok.Probably more than what i need.Lastly, I was a little worried that the songs would not transfer over to the itunes software. I have lots of songs that I got elsewhere :) I hoped they would transfer over to the other software and they did. They also sound great, the play fine. It's not a problem at all. Now i have over half of my music collection on this thing. It's a really great product.5 stars!!

5-0 out of 5 stars ITunes suck, but you don't need it.
The player is great. I never used iTunes, but as far as I'm concerned I'll nerver have to. I hated my previous sony mp3 player because the softwere had, just like iTunes, a lot of copyright bouls***t.
When I won my shuffle as a gift, I was really supicios that I would have the same problems with iTunes. I use win98 and, as a music fan, I love winamp: it's light, fast, practical... THE FACT IS: SHUFFLE WORKS IN WINAMP AND WIN98. All you gotta do is download the win98 driver and the winamp plugin. And the best part is, it works great! All you gotta do is select the songs you want form the library, right-click and "send to ipod" (winamp is the greatest!!!) It's realible, doesn't have any copyright bouls***t and its fast. I use standard usb, and it takes about 15 min to upload 1GB.

    The ipod itself is great.
+ : Practical, cool, very very light, no unnecessery cables, fine sound quality.
    - : None.

Waht I think about the lack of display:
Some people think the lack of display is due economical factors. In my opinion it was a desing decision. Ipod shuffle is the best looking mp3 player on the market and a display would compromise significantly its looks. As a music fan, I know the name of all my songs, so i don't need a dyspaly to inform me that. The problem of finding a specific song can be solved by loading your songs in alphabetical order.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it!
I needed something that would allow me to listen to music at the gym (since I workout 6 days/week). I looked at the other options, the Shuffle fit the bill. I was originally going to get the 512mb version but opted for the 1gb model since it's not much more.

    Pros:
-This thing is tiny, not much bigger than the USB thumb drives I use.
-No moving parts means no skipping while I'm on the treadmill.
-Very easy to use and install (took several minutes). The shuffle I purchased needed an update to Itunes, which was a quick download.
-Ready to use out of the box. Includes the Shuffle, headphones, 2 sets of pads, some Apple stickers, manual, CD all in a very bright green box.

    Cons:
-Small enough so you don't know it's there, gotta be careful not to sit on it.

A lot of folks seem to be concerted about the lack of a screen. If I'm working out I don't need a screen. No reason to complain about lack of a screen if you look at it and see THERE IS NO SCREEN. Buy one of the other models if you need a screen.

When you register it you'll be required to enter the serial number. It's located on the Ipod itself and is tiny but it is also on the bottom of the box next to the barcodes and is much easier to read. I've seen (on other sites) people complaining about the side of the serial number on the unit. You now know that it is on the box. :)

After you install it it will need to charge, so don't plan on using it immediately.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great iPod Alternative For Athletes Or Kids
Great for jogging, and makes the display surprisingly unnecessary. A solid, cheap, and durable alternative for kids who might not take the necessary care with a hard-drive based iPod.

    (...)

3-0 out of 5 stars Not a good value, but it's still something you can buy
The shuffle ipod. A great little Mp3 as tall as a large popsicle stick. it's easy to use as the regular ipod, but even though it's cool, it's not my kind of mp3 player.

let's look at the good things, it's small, and can be worn on your neck. It's fun, like a radio all of your choice. It's white, and it's like ipod's should be. it also plays songs without the annoying stalling and loading like theother small ones.Fun and cool looking.

But it still has lot's of cons. For starters, there is no screen. It's kind of fustrating, but it's fun at the same time. Like a radio without annoying commercials or announcers. another is the price. If you want music, the regular, Special, or photo. if you wanted to buy 2o gig worth of music with shuffle, It would cost more than 2000 dollars, and you just get music and no extras. And the others already shuffle, but still dosen't have the radio feature,.

It's good for anybody who dosen't like too much music and like the suprises of a radio. But if you are wanting to carry tons of music, buy the regular one.

5-0 out of 5 stars All I wanted was simple
And the iPod Shuffle delivered. I kind of wonder about the reviewers who say that there are other flash based mp3 players that cost the same but have more features and anyone who buys the shuffle is ... (substitute your favorite ad hominem attack). If you want those other features, don't buy the shuffle. But, I don't want a screen (prone to getting scratched or cracked), an FM tuner (I don't listen to the radio), voice recording (um, just have no use for that in my life). For what I wanted, this is THE perfect device. Sound is great even with my cheap Koss ear phones. Size is amazing. It's the perfect player for grabbing and dropping in your pocket. ... Read more

    Amazon.com Product Description

Taking its cue from the iPod itself, the Altec Lansing inMotion iM3 portable audio system packs a powerful collection of features into a compact, portable body. The system, which was designed exclusively for the iPod, is roughly the size of a paperback book, yet each of its sleek speakers delivers crystal-clear, vibrant sound, letting users share their iPod libraries at the park, in a hotel suite, or anyplace else where a set of headphones just won't do. An efficient Class D amplifier powers the four full-range 28 mm neodymium micro drivers, which provide impressively rich and clear high- and mid-range tones. Meanwhile, the system's MaxxBass technology boosts the bass with subwoofer-like results--a rare feature in such a small system. The iM3 also includes a built-in docking station that makes it easy to synchronize, recharge, and transfer data from your iPod while giving users convenient access to the click wheel. And when you're ready to hit the road, the docking station and stand fold up flat against the speakers to fit inside the included carrying bag. At a mere 8 by 5.5 by 1.1 inches (W x H x D), the system is perfect for the light traveler.

Listeners can operate the iM3 from a distance thanks to the included remote control, and should users get distracted for any length of time, the system shuts down automatically to conserve power. Additional features include a secondary input jack for connecting to other audio devices, such as laptops, older iPods, or other MP3 players (cable included), and an extra-long battery life (24 hours of continuous playback with four AA batteries). If you want to enjoy great sound everywhere you go while still preserving the portable convenience of the iPod, the iM3 is an ideal choice. Just listen.

5-0 out of 5 stars Way easier than explaining your musical taste to your family
Finally there is a way for your family to buy you music without having to explain to them why the guys from Slipknot dress like clowns.<br /><br />Nice also that you can get an iTunes gift certificate without having to setup an account (try guiding Grandma through that once...)

5-0 out of 5 stars iTunes Gift Card
This is the ultimate tool for downloading music quickly and cheaply. After downloading iTunes on Apple.com, you canset up an account with the Apple music store. Downloading is just a click away, a song can be yours in just under 15 seconds. This is great for someone with a diverse taste in music (like myself) as you do not have to buy the whole album if you only like the one song. I am a DJ in my spare time and get almost all my music from these cards. There is no threat of identity theft because you do not need to give your creidit card number ( I am paranoid about security). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I Love Them!
They perform exactly as I had hoped... they help keep the iPod earbuds securely in my ear. Speaking as one who isn't really into the acoustics end of it (I just want to listen to my music without static), these earjams offered a noticeable improvement in sound quality over the included iPod earbuds.

I just wish that after the initial purchase, there was an option to purchase additional ear pads only, in specific sizes (as I use the small set and have lost one of those already). I guess I'll just have to spring for a new set.

1-0 out of 5 stars Buy them if you enjoy pain.
"Disappointed" isn't a good word to describe my feelings about this purchase.I think a better term would be "tormented".If you look at these closely, you'll notice the serrated edges which attach to the ear buds. This is a grievous design flaw. These things hurt.I'm average-sized, with average-sized ears. After about ten minutes of wear, the serrated edges slowly begin sinking into the tender flesh of my ears.It doesn't matter how good the music is, I'm unable to ignore the pain.

Admittedly, there is a modest improvement in the sound quality (compared to the stock iPod headphones) when using these, but it doesn't justify the extreme discomfort they cause.Do yourself a favor and get actual earbud headphones. They'll fit (drastically) better, sound better, and the difference in comfort is the difference between a featherbed and a bed of (sparsely distributed) nails. If you've already purchased an iPod, you've spent a lot of money on a music listening device.Don't blow the listening experience by buying cheap serrated headphone covers that cause you pain.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
Don't buy them , unless you have extra large sized ears. They're too heavy and too large. The smallestrubberear pads still won't fit comfortably in my ears.

I use myipod primarily when walking several times a week. They won't fit snugly and are constantly falling out and have started to irritate myears from the constant reinsertions.

I've stopped using them and will buy something else. Very disappointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars They stay in your ears!
I had a terrible time keeping the earbud in my ear until I got these. They also work well to direct the sound into your ear so that you don't need to use as much volume to get excellent sound. Griffin also supplies a nice little case to hold you ear jams and headset. If you don't like things in your ears, you should get a "muff" type headphone. I love these little guys!

5-0 out of 5 stars Exceeded expectations!
When I got my iPod for my birthday, I was a little put off when I noticed that the earbuds included were the wrong shape for my ears; I walk home from school down a hill through the woods, so they would fall out every few seconds.:-(I needed a solution that wouldn't cost more than my allowance and birthday money could handle, so I decided to try these out. After reading a lot of other reviews, I was worried that they would make my music horrible and mucky, but when I fitted the EarJams into my ears and played some of my music I was very impressed. They don't alter the treble quality enough for me to notice or care, and the bass gets a really enjoyable boost. It also amplifies the earbuds so that 50% volume is about the loudest I would be able to listen to comfortably--VERY good for me, considering how embarrassing it is to be sitting in English class when you realize everyone else can hear your music blasting!

These are a purchase you really shouldn't pass up, especially if your ears are messed-up like mine and can't handle earbuds.Even if you were blessed with normal ears, heh heh, I would still recommend this product because of the great improvement in sound quality and volume. ... Read more
